No square cards with Creative Knockouts

Hi everyone,
there's a new challenge over at

This week we don't want to see any square cards.
Any other shape would be just fine. We're being
sponsored by the fabulous Stamping Chef, who very
kindly provided this image for me to play with...

He's called Lucky Larry. I've coloured him using Copics. The card
has been made using Go Kreate dies and a Big Shot Pro. I've flattened
the base card at the back to add stability, and also added a card strap
to the inside to stop the base collapsing.

The sentiment is by LOTV and has been cut out and mounted using
Spellbinder dies.

I've made this card for my Daughter Rachel. She starts her first job
on Monday, working at a creche/nursery. This is what she's always wanted
to do so I'm really happy for her. She also loves giraffes so hopefully
she'll love this card.

Now it's your turn. I hope you'll join us.

Use some texture for Ruby's Rainbow

Hi everyone,

there's a new challenge over at Ruby's Rainbow.

We'd like to see some Texture on your creations. I've tried
to show texture in my colouring of the gorgeous little bear
called James, by LOTV...

I've coloured using Copics. Here's a close-up...

I've also added some flowers and some ribbon to add more texture.
Now it's your turn. I hope you'll pop over to the challenge here and
check out the awesome inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Lace/ribbon, pearls and hearts with Sparkles Monthly Challenges

Hi everyone, hope you're all well

There's a new challenge starting at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.

We'd love to see your creations featuring
Lace/ribbon, pearls and hearts.

Here's mine...

I've made an anniversary card for my late husband's parents.
I've used Spellbinder dies, the largest heart being made of vellum.
The backing paper is from a Webster's Pages pad which came
free with Simply Cards & Papercraft at some point. It's a combo pack containing
papers from the Western Romance and All About Me collections.
The flowers have been inserted behind the fancy heart, which has been
mounted using glue gel. I've finished off with some ribbon and self-adhesive
pearls from my stash.

Here are some more piccies...

I hope you'll pop over and have a peek at the gorgeous inspiration
from my talented team mates.

This month we're being sponsored by...

Just to say...thanks

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to share the card I made for my daughter to give to
the local Pre-school, who very kindly allowed her to volunteer to
gain experience after completing her degree. She has now managed
to get a job, which she starts after half term :)

I've used a gorgeous stamp called Florence. It's by Crafters Companion
and came free with papercraft essentials magazine recently. It's
lovely to colour. I've used Copics. I've added glamour dust to the wings.

I would like to enter this for Winter Wonderland - Fairies

Thanks for visiting. I hope to see you again soon.

Be Mine with Creative Knockouts

Hi everyone

There's a new challenge over at Creative Knockouts.
We're being sponsored by Sweet 'n' Sassy and our theme is
Be Mine

I was lucky enough to be given this image to work with. It's called
Be Mine Cocoa and you can buy it here

I chose to make an easel card. The die is a Spellbinder one. I've
coloured Cocoa using Copics. I've used some checked paper from
my stash and printed the loveheart one from a Party Paws cd.
I've added some ribbon and a bow and added some twine
to the small heart which I've used as the stop for the easel.

Now it's your turn. I can't wait to see your creations.

Spots and stripes with Ruby's Rainbow

Hi everyone

There's a new challenge starting today at Ruby's Rainbow.

We'd love to see your projects using Spots and Stripes.

Here's my little bit of inspiration...

I'm trying to start using up some of the backing papers in my stash
so thought I'd use one of the Forever Friends ones with the character
on it. The stamp is from a 'Wellington' bear set, I just loved the sentiment.
The die is a Spellbinder (Big Scalloped Ovals LG). I've finished off
with some ribbon and hot fix pearls.

Now it's your turn. I hope you'll pop over to the challenge and check out the
fantastic projects made by my lovely team mates.

Thanks for visiting. Hope to see you again soon.

Sparkles Christmas Challenges Birthday Bloghop

Hi everyone,
I hope you're all well. We're having a bloghop to celebrate our 3rd anniversary
at Sparkles Christmas Challenges. To join in the hop you should have come to
me from Mary. If not, please start from the beginning here.

Our theme this month is 'Anything Goes' as long as it's Christmas.
I've altered a plain white box into a gift box...
The flower die is by Crafts Too. This has been placed on a green doily cut using a Nellies die.
This has then been mounted on a Spellbinder Adorning Square. I've also added an adorning square to the base of the box. I've added 2 different red ribbons around the sides, finishing with a thin green ribbon.

Now it's your turn. To participate in the hop you need to visit all of the fabulous DT creations and leave a comment or add yourself to their linky. You also need to enter a project into the challenge. We've got some awesome prizes up for grabs from our sponsors (including Joanna Sheen, Crafty Ribbons, Di's Digis, Marianne Design, Pink Gem Designs, FR and Dawn to Dusk). There are more goodies along the way from the DT but remember to have a chance of winning you must comment on all the DT posts and enter the challenge.

I'm giving away a Me to You Winter Wonderland 8x8" Creative papercraft kit...

Don't forget to leave me a comment. You've got until February 25th to enter.

Thanks for visiting. Next you need to visit Helen N.
