Pretty kitty Christmas card

Hi everyone, just thought I'd share this card, which I've made for my sister-in-law and her partner. They have 3 cats now so I thought they'd like this stamp...

I've coloured with copics and added some glamour dust snow and atyou glitter accents. I've had the backing papers in my stash for years. I've finished off with some ribbon and a glitter peel off sentiment. Here's a close up of the image...

I've coloured using copics using colours to compliment the backing paper. I've added 'a birthday wish' sentiment and layered up some flowers, finishing with a lime green button.

I hope you'll come and join in the challenge. Please don't forget to use a sentiment on your creation.

Ruby's Rainbow Nativity

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Ruby's Rainbow. This time we want to see your Nativity projects. Here's mine...

I've used a Crimson Cloud silhouette die cut, which I won a while ago, mounted on gold mirri board and matted with black card. Simple, yet effective...

I hope you'll come and join in with us. Thanks for visiting.

Anything goes for Sparkles

Hi everyone, it's time for another challenge over at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.

We're celebrating our 2nd Birthday with 'Anything Goes'. Here's my card, it's my daughter Rachel's 21st Birthday card. It was her birthday on December 10th. She just adores giraffes...

The stamp is a Bazoo one, coloured with Copics and cut out with a Spellbinder die, which I edged with worn lipstick distress ink. The papers are also Bazoo, matted with lime green card. I used a smaller die to make the plaque for the number, inking with the same distress ink before removing it from the die. The numbers are glitter peeloffs. I also added a 'Daughter' peeloff and some ribbon from my stash. I also decorated the inside to match. Here are some closeups...

I gave her this last Sunday, when we went to visit her and take her and her housemates out for lunch. She loved it. It's a shame she was away at university for her birthday but she had a good time partying with her friends and we're picking her up for Christmas in the morning.

I hope you'll hop over to the challenge and see what my talented team mates have produced for your inspiration. If you join us you could win a prize from our fabulous sponsors...

Anything goes and a DT call

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge over at Aud Sentiments and we're also having a DT call. This fortnight our theme is 'Anything Goes for the Holidays'.

We want to see any creation as long as it includes a sentiment relevant to the holidays - so that could be Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza etc.  I can't stress this enough, PLEASE don't forget to include a sentiment!

Here's my card...

The fab Birdie Brown image is coloured with Copics with glittery flock for the beard and glamour dust for the hat. I've had the backing papers in my stash for years, along with the presents and the 'Seasons greetings' tag. I've finished off with some candi which has been mounted on small foam pads.

I hope you pop over to the challenge and have a go, maybe even try out for the design team. You could win 3 digi images from our sponsor...

Non traditional Christmas - Ruby's Rainbow

Hi everyone, it's so good to have central heating again...I can get back in my craft room and not be too cold to craft.

It's time for a new challenge over at Ruby's Rainbow. This fortnight we'd like to see Christmas cards using non-traditional colours. Here's my DT card...

I've used bright pink, purple and black to make this one using a Spellbinder snowflake set. I've added pearls and purple mirri candi to give it a bit of bling. The edges of the purple and pink layers have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool with added 'Dusty Concord' distress ink. The snowflake has been layered with foam pads to make sure the layers are even. I hope you'll pop over to the challenge and check out the awesome cards my team mates have made for your inspiration.
