Parker Panda - Get well soon card

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a lovely weekend. Nice to see a bit of sunshine for a change....

Didn't get chance to blog yesterday as I was a bit busy, firstly helping my daughter Nikki to purchase and insure her first car....(I'm a nervous wreck thinking about her going out on her own in it!)..and then I went to my first copic class at Grimsby Crafts. It was great to meet the very talented Kate at last - grimsbycrafts.blogspot.co.uk

I was asked by a friend if I could make a Get Well Soon card for her Mother-in-law, who is in hospital, so here is what I came up with...
I stamped the image onto canvas paper using tuxedo black momento ink and coloured with promarkers. I have to say I'm loving my new glasses - I can see what I'm colouring! The image is called 'Just for you' and is by Helz Cuppleditch (the Pepper and friends illustrator). The flowered backing paper is from the Woodland Folk paper pack, the pink spotty is Me to You and the purply mottled paper is from a pack of offcuts I bought at a charity auction years ago. I printed the sentiment using word and die cut it using a spellbinder die. I've added self adhesive pearls, a selection of flowers and some pink ribbon to finish off. Here are some more piccies...

I would like to enter this in the following:-
2 sisters - make it girlie
Jelly Park - girlie girl
Crafty ribbons - flowers
DYSU - use a flower

I hope it managed to make her smile. Thank you for visiting. I love reading all your comments and visiting you back. I'll be back soon to show you the two birthday cards I made for another friend.

Happy crafting
Helen xx
