Hi everyone, I'm here to share an easel card I've made with the House Mouse challenge in mind. Just lately I only seem to make cards for DT projects so today I decided to make a Christmas card just for the fun of it!
I've coloured using copics. The colouring of the budgie was inspired by 'Rupert', the budgie we had when I was a child...he used to woof at our dog...I've used some of my new Spellbinders ( Labels 29 and Timeless rectangles) and the distressing ink is Forest Moss. I've used some metallic rub-on in deep gold on the green die cut. I've had these ages and had forgotten about them. Here's a close-up of the image...
I stamped the sentiment which came with the image and cut it out with a Spellbinder Opulent Oval die....
I finished off by adding some hot fix gems and a couple of poinsettias cut with a Marianne die. The backing papers are by Raspberry Road Designs.
As well as the House Mouse challenge I would like to enter this for the following:-
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Bearly Mine - Anything Goes
City Crafter - Wings of an Angel
Party Time Tuesdays - Anything Goes
Paper Playtime - Use a sentiment stamp
Thanks for visiting, I've really enjoyed making this card. Hope to see you again soon.
