Die cuts or punches with Ruby's Rainbow

Hi everyone.

It's my turn to choose the theme for this fortnight's challenge at Ruby's Rainbow.

I chose Die cuts or punches.

Here's my little piece of inspiration to use up some scraps...

I've cut two balloons using a die which was free with a recent magazine. I added a piece of silver twine and a bow together with a strip of card left over from a previous project (Tatty Twinkles cd) and a LOTV sentiment stamped straight onto the card (4x4). Simple yet effective I thought.

I hope you'll pop and have a look at my team mates awesome inspiration. They've done a fantastic job and you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for visiting. See you soon.

More than one fold with Sparkles Monthly Challenges

Hi everyone.

There's a new challenge starting today at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.

Our theme for this month is More than one fold.

Here's my little piece of inspiration...

This is an anniversary card which I made for my parents. I chose to use the folds to make a rosette to display the sentiment.

I used a hougie board to crease at 1cm intervals.

The image and papers are from the House Mouse triple cd.
I hope you'll join us. We have 3 fabulous prizes on offer.

Something for a little girl with Ruby's Rainbow

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all well.

Today I'm here to share a card I've made for my design piece for the latest challenge at Ruby's Rainbow.

Our theme for this fortnight has been chosen by the lovely Silvi...
Something for a little girl.

I've used a topper from the Makey Bakey Mice Everyday cd.
I made the card blank by printing a spotty backing paper from the Tatty Twinkles cd onto card and trimming it square. The blue panel featuring sweets has been printed from the Makey Bakey Mice cd.
I've stamped a Clearly Besotted sentiment onto a scrap of pink card (Stamp was a freebie a while ago). Finishing touches include a blue doily, some pale blue ribbon, a blue bow and a pink glitter die cut balloon. I've lined the card with a blue insert with a deckle edge.

Now it's your turn. I hope you'll join us in the challenge. I look forward to seeing your beautiful projects.
Thanks for visiting. See you again soon.

Ditch the design papers with Sparkles Christmas Challenges

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all well.

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenges.

Our theme for this month is Ditch the design papers.

Here's my little piece of inspiration...

I've used one of the Strawberry & Kisses stamps from Crafter's Companion, colouring with copics and adding Glamour dust for the fur on the hat. I have die cut the image using Tonic dies.
The green card has been embossed using a Cuttlebug folder.
The sentiment is from another Crafter's Companion set called 'Purr-fect Christmas' (from the Barkley range). I cut the rectangle using a Spellbinder die and matted using a mini Perfect Layer ruler (1/16).
I've added some ribbon and a Marianne designs poinsettia to finish.

I've not done much colouring recently as I have a sore neck and shoulders so I'm really pleased with this one. I'm waiting to start physio so hopefully colouring will resume soon. Anyhow, I hope you'll join us for this challenge. Please remember it must be Christmas related. You could win a fabulous prize...
