Vino Mickey with Digital Delights

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all well.

It's the 4th Thursday of the month so it's time for a new challenge at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

You can find all the details for the challenge by following the above link.
Here's my little bit of inspiration...

I've used a super cute image called Vino Mickey
I've coloured him using Copics and Atyou Spica Glitter Pens

The backing papers are called Just for men.

I've used brown card for all the matting and tonic dies.
The sentiment can be found here.

I've used Frayed Burlap distress ink to colour the sentiment, co-ordinating it with the thin stripe in the backing paper. I've finished off with some brown organza and some card candi.

I hope you'll join us for our Anything Goes (with a stamped image) challenge. You could win a fabulous prize...

Thanks for visiting. Hope to see you again soon.

Humorous Birthday at Ruby's

Hi everyone,
I hope you're all well.

I'm here to share the new challenge at Ruby's Rainbow.

Our theme is Humorous Birthday.

Here's my little bit of inspiration...

I've kept it simple, printing a topper using a Crafter's Companion Inspiration cd (Issue 6 - Spring). The topper is from the Thelwell range. I've used black card to mat the image and the backing paper and added some brown ribbon and a brown organza bow. The sentiment is by Circa Design and mounted on a Spellbinder picot edged circle. I coloured the sentiment stamp with Atyou Spica glitter pens.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you'll join us this fortnight.

Something for the males with Sparkles

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all well.

I'm a bit sore with my Fibromyalgia at the minute. I think it's down to moving furniture about. We're having the lounge done up at the moment so we've got stuff everywhere. We've got the new suite, all the painting and decorating is finished, the lights are up...we just need to put the radiator back on, put the curtain pole up, hang the curtains and wait for the carpet to be fitted on Thursday. Then we can move the other furniture back and get the telly back on the wall. It hasn't been changed since 1998 so it was well overdue.

Anyhow, here's my bit of design team inspiration for the new challenge at

We'd like to see Something For The Males.

I used a Kraft card blank, adding paper which has been in my stash for years. I think it was free with a magazine once upon a time... I've used a Memory Box 'Happy Birthday' die and the car is from the Downton Abbey collection. I finished off with a brown bow.

Now it's your turn...

Up for grabs this month is a surprise package from

I hope you'll join us. Thanks for visiting.

Baseball Samantha

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all well.

Today I get to share my first design team post with Digital Delights by Louby Loo.

I'm so excited to be working with these wonderful digis. We have a fabulous set of digis newly released for February. You can see them all if you follow the link in my side bar. Here's my little bit of inspiration using the very cute Baseball Samantha.

I made a gatefold card using a piece of A4 red card and an Eazi-score board.
The backing paper is from the Heat Wave Digital Paper Pack, also from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I used black card to mat everything, including the lovely cute image, which I have coloured using Copics...

I've added some red organza ribbon to the corners of the image, tying a bow at the top corner. To finish off I've added a couple of stars cut with Spellbinder dies. The red stars are cut using self adhesive glitter card.
I've added more backing paper along with a plain white square in the inside of the card...

Thanks for visiting. I hope you'll check out the rest of the design team's awesome inspiration here. I can't wait to share more of these fabulous images with you soon.

Anything goes at Ruby's Rainbow

Hi everyone.

There's a new challenge at Ruby's Rainbow.

Our theme for the next 2 weeks is Anything Goes.

Here's my little bit of inspiration...

I made a lovely set of milk carton style boxes with their own carrier following a project on the Downton Abbey cd. I used pearlescent card for the base card. The paper is J'Adore by first edition. All distressing has been done with Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap distress ink.
I used tattered lace and spellbinder dies to decorate the boxes, adding ribbon, pearls and bows to the carrier and pegs...

All the materials I used have been in my stash for ages so it was great to find a project to use some of these up, especially the little pegs.

I made these for my best friend Sue as part of her 50th birthday present and I filled both boxes with handmade bows, tied with my Embellishment Attic bow maker. She was thrilled to bits with it. I will certainly be making more of these boxes, they were really simple to make.

I hope you'll join us. Remember Anything goes!

I would like to enter this for the following:-

Thank you so much for visiting. I hope I'll see you again soon.

I've also added 4 fancy corners and a handmade bow to finish off. The spotty paper is from a Forever Friends paper pack.
