Little Robin Christmas

Hi everyone, I'm back with another card to share. This time it's a Christmas card...

 The image came free with a docrafts magazine ages ago. It's one of my favourites. I love Forever Friends. I've coloured with promarkers and cut the image out with Spellbinders Labels Three. The die cut has then been edged with sakura gelly roll glitter pen in green. The backing paper is from my stash. I've added some organza ribbon and a doily. I found a corrugated red star in my stash so used this to frame the sentiment brad (which says Merry Christmas). The red flowers have been stashed away for quite some time and are made of felt. Here are some close-ups...

A Day To Celebrate

Hi everyone...I hope you're enjoying the Easter break.

Here's my card share for today..

 It's a Daisy & Dandelion stamp, called Pumpkin the cheerleader, which I've had for ages and only just got round to using. I've coloured with promarkers and added stickles to the pompoms. I've also added some googly eyes.  I decided to use a red, white and blue colour scheme as I figured it'll be popular this year, with the diamond jubilee and the olympics. The backing paper was 12x12 by Generations. I picked this up in a clearance sale a couple of years ago. The blue and white stripy paper is the same make and has been torn using a fiskars ruler. The red card has been embossed with my bigshot. The sentiment has been cut out using the same style die as the main image (Big scalloped circles LG). I then chopped it off to echo the shape of the sentiment and added gems to the offcut, before adding it at the bottom corner. The ribbon, flower, buttons and gems are from my stash.

Little Cricketer

Hi everyone, nice to see a bit of sunshine again...hope you are all well...

Here's my card share for today...

 It's a simple card using a Forever Friends stamp, coloured with promarkers and cut using Spellbinders Big Scalloped Ovals LG. The backing paper is from the Crafters Companion Cd - Men's Collection (Disc 2). Ribbon and buttons are from my stash.
I would like to enter this into Scrapbook Sisters #78 - Dad/Male Joanna Sheen - Man's world and 52 card pickup - week 13.

I'd also like to take a moment to remember my first husband Alan, who would have been 45 today

Simple Christmas

Hi everyone, I'm back with another card to share...

This time it's a Christmas card...

It's not very easy to photograph because of the gold mirri card - you get lots of reflections! The white panel has been embossed using my Big Shot and matted with gold mirri card. This has then been matted onto green card and a deckle edge cut using my RotaTrim. I've added gold ribbon at the bottom and then matted it with more gold mirri card. The whole thing has then been attached to an A5 card blank.

Motor racing badger

Good morning everyone...well not so good if you live in the UK..where's the lovely weather gone??

Here's my card share for today...

I've used my Messy Rabbit cd for the image and both papers. The main backing paper is matted with bright orange card to compliment the racing car and the two panels are matted with gold mirri board. I've added some orange ribbon to the image before I matted it. Card candi has been added to the four corners and each one has a gold star on it.

Girl Ladybug

Hi everyone, hope you are all well.

Here's my card share for today using a lovely image from Bugaboo stamps. I won a voucher to spend in their store a couple of weeks ago and this is one of the gorgeous images I bought.

I've coloured with promarkers, used spellbinders labels six and edged with spun sugar distress ink, with a touch of faded jeans to make it lilacy. The wings are glamour dusted. The backing paper is a Pepper and friends one which is glittery. The flowers were bought from Cloud Nine in Horncastle, Lincolnshire and the feathers were from my stash. I have a few feathers kicking about and never really know what to do with them... The base card is 6x6 scalloped by Craft UK Limited.

Cosy Christmas

Good morning everyone...hope you are well and enjoying your crafting...
Here's my card share for today. Another Christmas card for my collection. I can't believe I'm so organised!

I've used one of my favourite Forever Friends stamps and my favourite colours for a Christmas card, traditional red and green. The backing paper is from a 12x12 pad called The Christmas Stack by DCWV. I've had it a good few years, patiently waiting to be used. I've edged both the backing and the image with a warm green colour box fluid chalk inkpad. The sentiment is stamped with onyx black versafine ink. The snowflake has been cut on my cricut from the Sesame Street Seasons cartridge. The image has been coloured with promarkers and 'blinged up' with green glitter, white flock (on the bobble) and glamour dust snow. Here's a close up of the image.
