Hi everyone...I hope you're enjoying the Easter break.
Here's my card share for today..
It's a Daisy & Dandelion stamp, called Pumpkin the cheerleader, which I've had for ages and only just got round to using. I've coloured with promarkers and added stickles to the pompoms. I've also added some googly eyes. I decided to use a red, white and blue colour scheme as I figured it'll be popular this year, with the diamond jubilee and the olympics. The backing paper was 12x12 by Generations. I picked this up in a clearance sale a couple of years ago. The blue and white stripy paper is the same make and has been torn using a fiskars ruler. The red card has been embossed with my bigshot. The sentiment has been cut out using the same style die as the main image (Big scalloped circles LG). I then chopped it off to echo the shape of the sentiment and added gems to the offcut, before adding it at the bottom corner. The ribbon, flower, buttons and gems are from my stash.
I would like to enter the following challenges:-
Anything goes challenge 64 - Anything goes
My Mum's craft shop - Easter/Animal
Whimsy stamps - Use ribbon
Critter Sketch challenge #109 - stars
Simon Says - use your favourite tool (bigshot)
Craft your passion - dots and/or stripes
Just keep on creating - Anything goes
I hope you like it...the sentiment means it could be used for a number of occasions, not just a birthday...
Thanks for visiting. I'd love it if you left me a message so that I can visit you back.
