Challenge #10 at Digital Delights by Louby Lou

Hi everyone.

There's a new challenge started at Digital Delights by Louby Lou.

It's anything goes with a stamped image (either digital or rubber).

Here's my little bit of inspiration...

I've made a shaker card using the following Digital Delights products...

I've coloured using Copics and used black card from my stash for all the matting and the frame for the shaker, which I cut using Tonic dies. I've used foam tape to form the shaker element, filling it with sequin stars.

I hope you'll check out the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Red, green & white with Ruby's Rainbow (a crochet update)

Hi everyone.

I hope you're all well.

It's time for a new challenge at Ruby's Rainbow.
Our theme is Red, Green and White/Cream.

I decided to crochet a Christmas stocking instead of making a card. You may have read in previous posts that I'm learning to crochet. My best friend Susie bought me a couple of books and some wool for my birthday in April. I've mostly been making toys but thought I'd have a go at a stocking...

The heel part was quite tricky but I'm really pleased with the finished product. It even looks like the one on the cover of the book!

I hope you'll pop over to the challenge and check out the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Thank you so much for visiting. I hope to see you again soon.

Animal Magic with Sparkles & a DT call

Hi everyone.

It's time for the new challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges

Our theme is Animal Magic.

Here's my little bit of inspiration...

I made this for my Crazy Cat Lady sister-in-law using Hunkydory's Little book of Furry Friends.  The backing paper is by First Edition and I've used a Tattered Lace die for the sentiment and the two small butterflies, which compliment the one in the image. I finished off with some spotty ribbon and a couple of pearls.

Now it's your turn...and don't forget to check out the DT call (HERE)

Thanks for stopping by. I'm going to get some more chores done before it's time to sit down and watch our local football team in the play-off final at Wembley. My two daughters are on their way to London with their Uncle and Aunty at the moment and I've got my late husband's parents coming over to watch it here as it's too much for them now to travel to Wembley and they don't have the channel on their TV. So all that's remains to be said is "Up the Mariners", good luck Grimsby Town.

New Release from Digital Delight by Louby Lou

Hi everyone.

There's a new release over at Digital Delights by Louby Lou

We have a character alphabet for you. Here's G Giraffe.

I've coloured him using copics. The backing papers are by Dovecraft and are Back to basics Blue Skies 6x6 (purchased from Asda...they fell in my trolley as I passed...honestly). I've used Tonic Oval dies, Tattered Lace Squares and Scalloped circle and a spellbinder number die to add the age one of my great nephews will be on his next birthday. The navy card used for all the matting is from my stash.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you'll check out the fabulous inspiration from the rest of Team 2 HERE.

A transparent element with Ruby's Rainbow

Hi everyone.

There's a new challenge at Ruby's Rainbow.

Our theme is Use a transparent element.

I chose to make a shaker card using acetate...

I've used the Hunkydory Little Book Of Golden Oldies for the image and sentiment and Dovecraft Back to Basics Blue Skies papers for the background.

I've used foam tape behind the frame (Tonic dies) to form the shaker element, adding sequin stars. The overall card size is A5.

I think my Dad will love this...guess I'll find out on the 26th, lol.

Christmas Cuties with Sparkles

Hi everyone,

I hope you're all well.

I'm here to share the new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenges

It's my turn to choose the theme. I picked Christmas Cuties, so we want to see cute images on your creations please. Here's mine...

The image is from a Ready To Colour Art Book which I bought from The Hobby House. It's called Winter Wonderland and you can find it HERE.
I've coloured him using Copics and added some glitter to his scarf, hat and snowflakes.
The backing papers are from my stash...I'm trying to use up what I've got rather than keep buying more as there's no room in my craft room at the moment, lol.
I've cut the snowflake from glitter card and the sentiment from Mirri, also adding a couple of trees and some organza. Now it's your turn. I can't wait to see what you create.
You could even win our fabulous prize...
