Hi everyone, I hope you're all well. I've made a couple of Christmas cards this morning but I'm waiting to show them to someone before I reveal them on here. I have, however, got another card to show you. Having decided not to go to my line dancing session this afternoon, as my fibromyalgia is still playing up, I decided I'd spend some time in my craft room with the odd housework break....which probably won't be very often! Hehe...I'm seriously addicted since I discovered blogging.....
I found some canvas paper amongst my daughter's old art materials this morning, I was actually looking for watercolour card but this looked like a challenge to me. I've stamped a Bella image by Wild Rose Studio using momento ink and coloured using promarkers. The backing paper is also from the Bella range. I cut the image using Spellbinders Big Scalloped Circles LG so I've also used the same dies to make the flower. The two purple layers are made from the canvas paper and coloured with promarkers. The pink layer is felt. I've added a flower shaped button from my stash. I've added a tropical flourish (Cheery Lynn) and some paper lace (Martha Stewart) both using pearlescant lilac paper. I've added self adhesive pearls to the flourish. The gingham ribbon is from my stash and I've added silver number peel offs.
I've added a pink liner and decorated it with purple paper cut with a Martha Stewart round the page punch.
I've also made a matching tag
I would like to enter this in the following:-
Pollycraft - matching card and tag
Fussy and Fancy - Butterflies, ribbons and punches
Aud Sentiments - anything goes
The squirrel and the fox - one for the girls
Make it Monday
Cheery Lynn - shades of purple
The pretty little ribbon - Blossoms and butterflies
Joanna Sheen - Flower Power
Passion for promarkers - special birthday
