Hi everyone, I'm back with another card. I've been crafting whilst watching the olympics on my pc, just love the swimming....

This one is using a stamp which I won from Crafty Sentiments a few months ago, can't believe I haven't used it yet!
I've coloured with copics. The backing paper is Pepper and Friends and the butterflies are Cheery Lynn. I've added one of the doilies I got from the Summer Crafting workshop and a strip of ribbon from my stash. I've matted using purple card.

Skater Boy

Hi everyone, I've been playing with my new toys!...So excited, finally got my much wanted copic ciaos. I'm sure I'll still use my Promarkers as I have too many to ignore them but for now I'm practising with my ciaos. I must recommend Sir Stampalot for their excellent service, I'll certainly be using their store again. Anyway, here's my card to share...
I've used my Greeting Farm Skater Ian stamp to make a sporty, masculine card. I've stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black ink on Silky Smooth Ultra White card.

I've used the following colours:-
Skin : E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair: E33, E35, E37
T-shirt and skateboard: R27, R29
Trousers and Hat: B93, B95, B97

I've matted the backing papers with black card after edging with Faded Jeans distress ink.

Love boat

Hi everyone, I'm back to share the card I've made for my parents' wedding anniversary...
This is one of my new LOTV stamps and I think it's really sweet. I've coloured with Promarkers with added glitter using Sakura gel pens and have also added glossy accents to the glasses and the bottle. I've adapted the layout from the card I made at copics class which I'll show you in a bit. I've used a Martha Stewart punch for the fancy edge to the papers. The sentiment (also LOTV) was stamped onto white card and coloured with Promarkers before being inked with faded jeans distress ink. Here are some close-ups...

And here's the card I made with the very talented Kate.
I would like to enter my anniversary card in the following:-
Ruby's Rainbow - cute animals
Make it Monday
 Joanna Sheen - animal crackers
Shopping our stash - something new (stamp)
Always crafting - water

WOYWW 164

Hi everyone, it seems like ages since I posted anything. It's Wednesday again and time to share our work desks over at Julia's stamping ground. I've only just had chance to take my photo as I've had a lovely day out with my hubby and in-laws. My father-in-law retired in July last year and as a leaving gift he received a taxi ride in a Lancaster. He's had to wait a year but today was the big day so we went along too...
Anyhow, back to my desk....not much going on at the minute but there's a couple of cards and some new stamps...

The card standing up is the one I made at Kate's copics class (see here). I really enjoy these classes and am hoping to invest in the complete set of ciaos soon. Until then I keep practising with my promarkers. Here's a closer piccie but I'm planning to blog both this card and the one you can see with it shortly...
On the way to East Kirkby my gorgeous hubby took me to a craft shop where I got these...
And lastly here's a couple of stamp packs which have been freebies with magazines...
Thanks for visiting me, I'm gonna have a peek at what everyone else has been up to now. See you again very soon, I hope.

Patchwork Bunch Of Balloons

Hi everyone, I just wanted to show you this card I've made using one of my new LOTV stamps...
I've coloured using Promarkers, shaped it and attached using 3D gel. His nose is highlighted with glossy accents. I've added hotfix gems and flowers to the backing paper and edged the bottom of the paper with a Martha Stewart border punch. The sentiment was stamped using another of my new toys, the Justrite stamper kit. I've deliberately gone for pastels as I tend to go for bright colours normally...

Thank you for visiting and welcome to my newest followers. I hope you like what you see and that I'll see you again soon. Happy crafting.

Wish upon a Christmas star

Hi everyone, I'm here to share a Christmas card with you...
I've used a Forever Friends acrylic stamp set for the image and sentiment. The image has been coloured with Promarkers with added Glamour dust snow. I've embossed the sentiment with Gold detail embossing powder. I used some of my new hot fix gems, (another purchase from the Summer Crafting show), and a stencil to make the star, adding a sequin star to the centre. I've added red ribbon to compliment the red sequin, and some peel off stars to finish...

I would like to enter this for the following:-

Aud Sentiments - Tag it

Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge over at Aud Sentiments ....

The challenge this week is to use a tag for your sentiment. We're sponsored by Tickled Pink and I've used one of their gorgeous images, called Pippa.

I've coloured using Promarkers and added a flower which is a combination of Boofle big bloom and dovecraft flowers, with a button to finish off. The flourish is Cheery Lynn. The 2 small red flowers have been glossed with glossy accents.

I hope you'll hop over to the challenge and have a look at the fab inspiration from my team mates and maybe enter a card of your own (just remember to put your sentiment on the tag).

WOYWW 163

Hi everyone, there's not much on my work desk at the moment as I had a laser iriditotomy on my eyes yesterday and had tidied everything up before I went to the hospital. Everything seems to have gone well, as far as I can tell.....

There are a couple of things out at the moment. One is a piece of card I attacked yesterday with my big shot and a new 'mask'. I've never used a mask in it before so I bought a couple of extras for the big shot (squishy black mat and texture plate). Then I attacked it with distress inks, clear embossing powder and mica powder. Not sure what I'm gonna do with it yet.....
Then, just above it in the photo you'll see the other thing I've been playing at...making flowers...
I've been using tonic punches. Talking of punches I got one at the craft show at Doncaster on Sunday. My daughter Rachel wanted me to get it from the Every Craft's a Pound stall (to make up 12 items for £10). I wasn't sure but thought hey why not? It's brilliant!
I punched it on white card and coloured with Promarkers, then added googly eyes...
And here's the BEST thing in my craft room...It's not on the desk, more under it...the lovely Lisa...
She's finally realised she doesn't need to sit downstairs on her own while I'm crafting...

Anyhow I suppose I should get dressed and do something useful...hehe give me half hour and I'll be back in here no doubt. Thanks for visiting and why not pop over to Julia's stamping ground  and see what everyone else is up to... Happy crafting

Wish upon a star

Hi everyone, I hope you're all well. I've been playing with one of my new stamps and have a card to share...
The image is Lili of the Valley - Wish upon a star and I've coloured using Promarkers and added stickles to the tutu. The backing paper is Forever Friends - For You... (a bargain from the craft show). I've used black card to mat everything and make the leaves (Spellbinder). The roses are made using a Tonic petal punch and I've added one of the little wire and gem wotsits I got at the craft workshop. The doily was also in my stash from the workshop. The sentiment is another new stamp from the show, also LOTV and cut out and matted using Spellbinders.

I would like to enter this for the following:-
Lili's Little Fairies - Pretty in pink
Make it Monday

A fantastic couple of days

Hi everyone, I've had a great couple of days with my best mate Sue. On Friday we went to the Summer Crafting Workshop at Doncaster Racecourse, also accompanied by Sue's daughter Kathryn (my daughter Rachel's best mate). Kathryn was extremely lucky at the workshop and won a fantastic bucket of craft goodies which must have been worth over £200!. We got a goody bag included so here's a couple of piccies...

Today we went back to the craft show, also accompanied by my daughter Rachel. Here's a couple of piccies I took...

My daughter Rachel has a love of Giraffes, hence the photo. I thought I'd take a photo of my stash, but I couldn't fit it all in one photo! Oops...well I have been saving up for months...

I got some fab bargains, including a Marianne treble clef die for £2.99 and 8 rolls of ribbon for £3. I managed to get some more hot fix gems and pearls too...can't wait to play. I've bought mica powder for the first time and loads of stamps...can't wait to have a go! Anyhow, hubby has started talking about taking me to the NEC so I better start saving up again! I'll need a mortgage if he takes me...he's a big softee...

I'm hoping to get a chance to play tomorrow cos I'm having some laser surgery on my eyes on Tuesday, so I'm not sure how it'll affect my eyesight. I'm have a YAG laser iridotomy to reduce the risk of acute glaucoma in later life (something to do with narrow angles)... so hopefully I'll be back soon.Happy crafting.

Fishing CAS

Hi everyone, just thought I'd share this CAS card I've made this afternoon. It's a Stitchy Bear digi image called 'The Big One'. I've coloured using Promarkers but haven't added much else, except a sentiment, as I wanted the image to be the main focus of the card.
The card blank started off white and I inked it with Antique Linen distress ink. The image has been layered on brown paper, as has the sentiment, which I stamped with Momento Rich Cocoa.

I would like to enter this for the DT call over at The Paper Shelter.

I'd also like to enter it for:-
Cards for men - Happy Birthday
Creative Mondays - For men

Thanks for visiting, I hope you'll come back soon. Happy crafting.

Sheep!!

Hi everyone, I've managed to grab a few minutes in my craft room this afternoon and made another scrapbook page for my Lake District album.

I took these photos of sheep whilst on a walk around Windemere. I've used my round the page punch and added some green vellum and a doily. There's also a sheep shaped button, through which I've threaded garden twine. I've also wrapped some twine around the bottom of one of the photos. The letters were cut with my Cricut (Cuttin' Up). Here are some close ups...

WOYWW 163

Hi everyone, can't believe it's Wednesday again already. Thanks for the lovely comments last week and your advice with my sewing machine. I haven't had chance to play with it properly yet but hopefully I will soon. Here's my workspace today...
You can't really see much so I'll show you some close ups...
This is my box containing my Lake District scrapbook. I've printed out some Sheep piccies to make another page. You can also see the brilliant buttons I bought a few years ago in the Lakes with the intention of making a scrapbook but never got round to it...
This is a design I've been working on for Bridesmaid thank you cards. I've made the template myself (yes I actually hand drew the shapes!) and paper pieced it. I'm really hoping my friend likes it, then we have to talk colours...
And lastly, my freebies waiting to be used. There's the love Edwardian Lady stamps which came with Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine and the latest Club Member freebie from Create and Craft - The Hunkydory Tea Party luxury card collection.

Not sure how much crafting I'll get done today though as I really must tidy the house. I've been busy for the last few days and need to catch up. Also, I can't wait for Friday - Summer Crafting Workshop at Doncaster Racecourse, followed by the craft fair there on Sunday...Hopefully next week I'll have some new goodies to show you. Right, better go get on. I hope to catch up with some commenting at WOYWW 163

Thanks for stopping by, see you all soon. Happy crafting
