Hi everyone, as it's STILL raining I thought I'd make a summer card to remind myself what the weather should be like at this time of year. I've used a Pollycraft image called Biscuit Fishy Friends...
I've coloured using Promarkers and used yellow glitter as sand. I've added glossy accents to the mask and the bag with the fish in. The yellow backing paper is froma Colorbok Pastel Embellishment Punch-out Pack which I've had for years. I've distressed the edges with a Tim Holtz tool. I added the red and white striped paper as a compliment to the bear's shirt (and it made me think of deck chairs). I added a tag and a couple of suitable embellishments from my stash to finish off.
Hope you like him and that he brightens up a dull day. I'd like to enter this for the following:-

Model T Ford
Hi everyone, well looks like the rare glimpse of sun yesterday was a one off, back to the constant rain...I've noticed that when I decide to tackle my mountain of ironing it turns sunny and warm...just shows how often I do it! I used to keep on top of it at one point but the onset of Fibromyalgia last year made me hate it. I ironed all morning and then decided I needed to cut the grass in the afternoon. My garden is slightly uphill and our mower isn't self propelled so it's hard work, as a result I'm a bit sore today so I'm having an easy day. Anyway enough whinging, here's my card share for today...
The stamp is Papermania Nostalgia Classic Cars (Model T Ford). I stamped using Momento Rich Cocoa ink and edged with Frayed Burlap distress ink. I also added an eyelet to the tag. I've made this for my Father-in-law's birthday next week.
I would like to enter this in the following:-
Craft Punked - Monochrome

Top Tip Tuesday - One for the men
Tuesday Alchemy - anything goes

Aud Sentiments Challenge 58
Hi everyone, it's time for a new challenge over at Aud Sentiments. This time we're sponsored by
This time the challenge is to use a sentiment containing the word 'Friend'. Here's my card...
I've used a lovely Polka Doodles image called Beehappy, which I've coloured using Promarkers. I've added Glossy Accents to the ladybird and glitter to the bee. The sentiment came free with a magazine a couple of weeks ago and fitted perfectly with the image. The backing paper has been in my stash for years. I've added a flower with a pearl centre, a couple of flowers to the sentiment and some card candi to finish off. I hope you'll join us in our challenge for this fortnight.
I would like to enter this for:-
Totally papercrafts - can you digi it
LEJ Designs - fabulous flowers
The Paper Shelter - flower power
Thanks for dropping by, I hope you like what you see. See you again soon.

Surfin' Santa
Hi everyone, I'm here to share a Christmas card with you. My friend asked me to make her a card which she could send to her sister who lives in Florida. I found this at Stitchy Bear and thought it would be ideal...
I've coloured using Promarkers and used some Dovecraft paper which I've had for years. The wave paper is from my scrap box and is shaped with a Spellbinder die. I've matted using red card and added a matching brad. I found a 'Ho ho ho' sticker in just the right colour in my stash and finished off with a glittery peeloff and some card candi.
I would like to enter this for the following :-
Crafty Hazelnut - festive funnies
Lollipop Crafts - Christmas in July
Crafters Companion - Ho ho ho Christmas
Secret Crafter - Christmas
Thanks for visiting, I hope to see you again soon.

WOYWW 161
Hi everyone, is it Wednesday again already?? I haven't had chance to do any crafting for a couple of days...Mondays are always busy with Slimming World group and then the weekly shop and yesterday was spent making sure my daughter Rachel had all the last minute bits she needed for her holiday to Crete, followed by line dancing, pick up her friend, home for tea and take to the airport. Luckily she was flying from the airport 5 minutes down the road...Anyway, whilst looking for her personalised luggage strap in the loft my lovely hubby unearthed something which hasn't seen the light of day for many years....my sewing machine...I just shocked myself (no not with dodgy electrics!), I remembered how to refill the spool, refit it and rethread...good job really as I've no idea where the instructions are...Anyway, enough waffle, you want to see a piccie...
And here's a scrap of card I've been playing with...I'm trying to get the tension right...I'll have to keep fiddling but any tips would be gratefully received...
Thanks for looking, I'm going to have a look what everyone else is up to now over at Julia's place (WOYWW 161).

There are many paths...
Hi everyone, I hope you had a lovely weekend. I made a scrapbook page with some of the photos from my holiday in the Lake District in March (or Summer as we're now calling it!)...
I found the phrase in my stash and used 3 photos from the path around Aira Force. After rummaging through stuff I've had for years I found some chipboard arrows too. The flowers are Boofle with an added yellow flower (Prima), and a Boofle button added. Here are some close-ups....
I would like to enter this for THe Happy Scrappers - The Great Outdoors and Make It Monday.
Thanks for looking, I hope you like what you see. I'm getting into Scrapbooking a bit more at the minute so look out for some more layouts soon. Happy crafting.

Sassy in the City Relay: Carrie Sassy
Hi everyone, I'm here to share my card for the final leg of the Sassy in the city relay.
This time we had to feature either Paris or New York in our design. I chose New York as my husband and I went there for our honeymoon in 2006, so I used a couple of piccies....Times Square and The Empire State Building. I've coloured the image using Promarkers and added a couple of pearls to her hair. The backing paper is from the Dovecraft Glamour Prints pack. I've added some ribbon and a bow from my stash.
I would also like to enter this for Totally Papercrafts - can you digi it
