Tractor panorama

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all well.

I wanted to show you the panorama card I've been playing about with. My hubby bought me the panorama dies from Tattered Lace and I love them. I also spotted that Joanna Sheen has brought out a tractor die, and seeing as hubby loves tractors I just had to get it...hehe any excuse to buy dies, lol.

I cut the tractor a few times and pieced it together. Originally the nearest of the two hills was in the same green as the tractor so I just changed that by remaking that panel with a lighter green. The old panel could easily be removed using the tabs at the side.

I really enjoyed making this.

House Mouse Happy Anniversary

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all well.

I'd like to share a card I've made for my hubby's boss and his wife.
Today is their 1st wedding anniversary.

The image is from the House Mouse Triple CD, matted with black card.
I've used various shades of card from the Papermania Textured cardstock A5 pack.
The sentiment is computer generated and has been cut using a Tonic die set.
The flourishes were cut using a die which was free with a mag at some point.
The hearts were cut using a Tattered Lace die.
I added some lace to the base later before adding the tag using foam pads.
I also added a small flower and 3 self adhesive pearls to the tag.

Anything green with Ruby's Rainbow

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all well.

First of all I have to say thank you to my gorgeous husband Ted for the awesome Valentine's present. He sneaked off upstairs and ordered me both sets of Tattered Lace Panorama dies when he saw me watching them on Create and Craft one evening.....Wow!!...how lucky am I? Well and truly spoiled. I've used the dies to make my design piece for this fortnight's Ruby's Rainbow Challenge, which is Anything Green.

I've made a square one incorporating the following dies and papers:-
Tattered Lace - Panorama Set 1
          - Squares
                                           - Decorative and plain circles
                                       - Panorama Grass Medium
                                                        - Kaleidoscope Corner (with mag 14)
                       - Curved Banner
Tonic - Mariposa Petals (Create and Craft Member's gift)

Forever Friends Kraft Notes 6x6
DCWV Text prints paper stack 6x6

The decorative purple die cuts have been cut from glitter card. I also cut an extra Kaleidoscope corner and snipped out the small flowers for the centres of the flowers at either side of the banner. Here's a few more piccies...

I loved making this so you'll be seeing a lot more of these over the next few months.

I hope you'll pop over to the challenge and join us.

One for the boys with Sparkles Monthly Challenges

Hi everyone.

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.

Our theme for this month is One for the boys.
We'd like to see any project for the men in your life. I've made a birthday card for my Father-in-law.

I've used a cute LOTV stamp which I've coloured with Copics before layering up in a frame. The papers are both from the Wellington bear collection and I've used dark brown card for the matting and layering and also for the picket fence. I've finished off with some green bunting and a couple of tags...

I hope you'll join us for the challenge. We have two fab sponsors...

Love Birds

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all well.

I'd like to share a Valentine's card which I've made for my lovely hubby Ted...

I've cut out a couple of love birds from gold mirri and sandwiched it between the white and black layers of the top panel, which has been mounted with foam pads to raise it off the base. The aperture was made using a Spellbinder die. I've finished off with a couple of Sissix hearts and a Spellbinder sentiment. Obviously I haven't gone too fussy as it's for a bloke...

Birthday flowers

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all well.

I saw a post by Sue Wilson yesterday which really inspired me to make the card I'm going to share with you today. You can see the original card here.

Here's what I made...

I've had the white card in my stash for years and thought it was time to use some of it up. The flowers have been made up from my scraps box too. I've recently sorted out all my die storage and came across a set I haven't used in a while so used this to cut out the aperture (Spellbinders Adorning Squares). I've used 3 different sized flower punches and added hot fix pearls to the centres. I love how this has turned out. Think I might make a few more based on this design.

Soon be Spring with Ruby's Rainbow

Good morning. Bit of a chilly one today...

It's time for a new challenge at Ruby's Rainbow
Our theme is 'Soon be Spring'.

We'd like to see anything Spring related. Here's my little bit of inspiration...

I've used a stamp which I got free with a recent magazine (Papercraft Essentials Issue 115). It's from the Bebunni range from Crafter's Companion and is called Birthday Wishes. I've coloured it using Copics before fussy cutting it and mounting it with glue gel. The papers were also a freebie which I've been stashing for some time... I tidied my paper drawer recently and found lots of stuff I'd forgotten about so I'm trying to remember to look through this stuff first before buying more...
I've used a few dies and finished off with a flower I bought from LOTV last year and a ribbon sentiment. I think this looks lovely and fresh and as I look out at the snow and ice it reminds me that it won't be too long till Spring is here...It can't come quick enough for me!

You'll be with me...

Hi everyone.
I hope you're all well.

My daughter asked me earlier this afternoon if I could make a card for her friend's 21st birthday next month. She adores the musical Wicked and the sentiment on this card features her favourite line of the lyrics for the song 'For Good'. She's currently studying at uni in America so they won't be together for her birthday... hence the sentiment inside the card...

The image is Crafty Sentiments and is called Harriet - Witchy ride. I've coloured using Copics.
The handprint has been embossed with clear embossing powder before I inked the heart with Pearlescent Purple Brilliance ink.

I would like to enter this for the current challenge at Use your stuff - inspired by a song.

Thank you so much for visiting. I'll see you soon.

Let's party with Sparkles Christmas Challenges

Hi everyone.

As I'm typing this it's just started to snow again. Luckily it's too wet for it to hang around.  I hope you're all managing to stay snug at the moment.

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenges and as it's our 4th Anniversary our theme is 'Let's party'. Here's my little piece of inspiration using a gorgeous LOTV stamp which I got for Christmas...

I've coloured him using Copics. If you look closely at the cracker you'll see that I added one of the tiny stars from the bunting. The red strip and the green part of the embellishment at the bottom corner of the image are made using a Sue Wilson bow die set. I've added a scalloped circle and star with a glazed candi to finish off the embellishment, also adding starts and candi to the red strip. The star die is a Spellbinder one and I glazed using Glossy Accents. The sentiment is from an old Dandelion and Daisy set. The bunting is a Joanna Sheen die.

We have 2 fabulous sponsors this month...
