Ele-fantastic Birthday

Hi everyone, I've finally got back in my craft room to do some crafting, instead of reorganising. I've made a couple of cards which I can't share with you for a few days but once they've been given to the recipients I'll post them on here.

This is my second DT card for Aud Sentiments. Our challenge for this fortnight is to use a sentiment for a child's birthday. We're being sponsored by Tiddly Inks and if you click on the link you'll find the image I've used as a freebie - how good is that?? The image is called Ellie, and seeing as one of my nicknames is EllieWee I just had to use it! (For years I couldn't work out why I called myself Ellie Wee Wee when I was little until my youngest daughter kept calling herself Nikki A Wee...and then it dawned on me..we both have the middle name Marie and my first name is Helen..I must just have been having difficulty saying my name...have to say it was a relief to realise that was the reason...maybe relief wasn't the right word...anyhow) Here's my card for this challenge...

I've coloured Ellie with Promarkers and matted using a scalloped rectangle which I cut on my Cricut. The blue backing paper is from the Papermania Capsule Collection (6x6). I'm not sure where the balloon paper came from, I found it in my paper drawer. I think I've printed it from a cd at some point in the distant past. I cut it into a triangle and distressed the edges, and those of the backing paper, with my Tim Holtz tool. I added a doily, ribbon and self adhesive pearls from my stash and printed the sentiment using Word.

I hope you'll pop over to Aud Sentiments and join in the fun. Can't wait to see what you create.

I'd like to enter this in the following :-
Catch the bug - Anything goes
Make it Monday #92

Thanks for visiting, I'll hope you'll come back soon.

Happy crafting
Helen xx
